Considered one of Ontario's best fishing lakes, Rice Lake is approximately 33 kms (18 miles) long. It was named after the wild rice plants that once grew around its shores. Other activities around Rice Lake include canoeing and nature exploration. Ample many resorts and cottages exist in the area.
